Descending aorta cannula for blood transmission

During surgery for thoracic aortic aneurysm (including aneurysm of the ascending aorta, aortic arch aneurysm and aneurysm of the descending aorta), this catheter can be used for blood transmission into the descending aorta for organ protection.

During surgery for thoracic aortic aneurysm (including aneurysm of the ascending aorta, aortic arch aneurysm and aneurysm of the descending aorta) performed at the blood temperature of circulation and metabolism not less than 28°C, this catheter with a silicon rib can be used for blood transmission into the descending aorta for organ protection.

Features

uni
  • A large silicon-based balloon with a grid-like ribbed surface (convex part) developed through our special techniques to reduce slippage from the artery.
  • Newly employed suspension shaft in the interior of the catheter to prevent inhibition of catheter fixation or procedures in the operative field.
  • 24Fr and 28Fr types can optimally perform blood transmission at the blood temperature of circulation and metabolism not less than 25°C by substitution of the aortic arch or substitution under antegrade myocardial preservation.
  • Three sizes of 21Fr, 24Fr and 28 Fr are available, with or without suspension. In surgery performed under retrograde myocardial preservation (requiring less blood transmission because of lower metabolic temperature), the catheter without suspension creates a flexible operative field.
