SP-GRIPFLOW™, Excellent Materials and Stable Manipulation A balloon with a grid-like ribbed surface can minimize slippage.

During surgery for aortic arch aneurysm and dissecting aortic aneurysm, antegrade blood flow (perfusion) can be demonstrated for cerebroprotection through these catheters inserted into three branches of the aorta.

Features

uni
  • Silicone rubber selected for medical application can reduce trauma to the tunica intima.
  • The catheter comes with a stylet with a luer-lock connector to maintain its shape during perfusion (for Type I, only).
  • Perfusion pressure monitoring can be performed at the catheter tip.
  • Blood flow during perfusion can be visually confirmed.
  • The catheter is provided with depth markings on the distal tip for insertion depth reading.

Slip Resistance Test Data

Draw-strength of the three catheters measured in (a) sclerotic carotid arteries and (b) in normal carotid arteries. These data revealed that the SP-GRIPFLOW had a draw-strength approximately four times greater than other conventional catheters.
